WI Fishing Trips: Musky, Walleye, Row Trolling, and Bass fishing
General information:
Fishing in Northern Wisconsin is a great place to fish with a different lake just around the corner. Capt. Matt guides on over 30 lakes in Oneida, Forest, and Vilas counties. Around the cities of Eagle River, St. Germain, Manitowish Waters, and Minocqua. From a fun family outing to an intense trophy hunt. Fishing will be conducted out of 20' Ranger boat with the latest electronics and fishing equipment. Fishing with Tooth Tamer Rods and Shimano reels. Capt. Matt is an experienced full time guide, seminar speaker, and tournament fisherman. Matt can handle any persons fishing abilities and experience level. One of the biggest aspects of a good fishing guide is to be able to adapt to everyones ability and consistently catch fish. All fishing equipment and bait will be provided with no extra bait charges. Capt. Matt will make every effort to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time on the water. The knowledge that you can learn in just a few hours fishing with Capt. Guaranteed Musky Fishing Trip:
Thats right. I run a guaranteed muskie trip. No one else does in the area because its bad business if you can't produce. I am confident that I can help anyone of any fishing ability catch a muskie in one days time! This trip is designed for any angler who wants to catch multiple muskies or put their first muskie in the boat. I have had everyone from an 8 yr old to over 70 catch a muskie. We will target waters teaming with muskies. The trip will be eight or more hours on the water chasing the mighty muskie. Muskies are considered an elusive fish but I find them to be very predictable in habits since they are a top predator. I will focus on waters with a high muskie density with fish reaching up to the 45" mark with a few bigger fish present but the average length on these fish range from 36-40 inches. If for some reason a muskie is not boated a free half day trip of your choice is offered on any available open dates that year. I have had clients catch up to 5 fish in a days time while on this trip!

Musky Fishing:
Musky fishing is offered in half and full day trips. These trips will be dedicated to learning more techiniques and stratagies for catching more muskies, or getting your first fish in the boat. Fishing on this trip you can either try fishing action waters or chase a muskie of a life time. I guide musky trips on over 30 bodies of water throughout the northwoods. Fishing for muskies is a passion of mine, and when not guiding I am on the water filming for my new musky DVD or fishing in musky tournaments. I spend over 400 hrs a year in search of muskies. There are more muskies boated in my boat than any other in Vilas county if not all of WI over the past 4 years. The difference to this trip over the guaranteed musky trip is that I will not guarantee a trophy fish on an outing. The guarantee trip is dedicated to fishing action waters. I still will fish action lakes on 1/2 and full day trips. On a full day trip fishing multiple lakes is a regular occurance since I fish the prime spots so I can put you infront of as many muskies as I can.
Walleye and Bass Fishing:
These trips designed for numbers or trophy potential for both largemouth and smallmouth bass, and eater walleyes. Fishing waters to target bass over 18" with the possiblity of getting bass over 20"+ on a daily basis. Other waters are teaming with bass, which is good for rod bending action. These trips are good for any angler with any ability or age level. Live and artifical techinques will be used. One of the most under pressured fish in northern Wisconsin is the great diversity of bass fishing. I have had clients catch over 40 bass in a day.
For walleyes these trips are designed for those who want fish for the frying pan or just want to catch Walleye. Live bait rigging under slip bobbers or jigging are the primary summer techinques for walleyes. These trips are offered in half or full days.
Row Trolling: (musky and Walleye)
If you want to learn the art of row trolling or catch a fish of a lifetime this is the trip for you. These trips are designed to catch trophy walleyes and muskies. Row trolling over the past few years has netted me my personal best muskie and walleye. Good days on the water will also consist of multiple fish days. This is where I get a lot of my trophy fish since these fish can be very hard to catch on casting gear since they are suspended over deep water chasing suspended bait fish. These trips usually take place during the early morning or evening hours and can be booked in half or full days. Being a half day trip being either a morning or evening, or a full day; morning and eveing outing. Trips can be taken to target trophy walleyes (27-30"+) or muskies. Some of the largest muskies documented in Vilas county over the past few years have been taken while row trolling.
Blast n' Cast:
During the fall and spring combo a fishing trip with a hunting package! Get the best of both worlds of an a.m waterfowl or turkey hunt and an afternoon fishing trip. Hideaway Hollow Outfitters offers waterfowl hunts on the Mississippi River, Green Bay, and Northern WI. Turkey hunts take place in Zones one and three, where fishing will be conducted on the Mississippi river or Wisconsin river targeting walleyes.
